Singing Used to Mean Something

I guess being a "vocalist" isn't really about singing...because Taylor Swift cannot carry a tune in a bucket. Sorry, Taylor Swift but the other women in that category can sing circles around you. You needed to thank your marketing folks for that trophy because you are NOT a vocalist. You are barely a songwriter; as long as your audience is 15.

And if you win Entertainer of the Year, I will quit working in country radio in protest...

I knew most music had become homogenized but country music has always had a "truer" ring to it. To see it bastardized with a marketing machine is a disservice to the industry, artists and its fans.
