Although Lawrence Summers, head of the National Economic Council, fell asleep on the podium, most attendees, including Republicans, appear to have appreciated the exercise. There was even
some light-heartedness.

I can only imagine how difficult it is listening to PBO tell us how he is going to spend $1 trillion this week (and more in the future, just you wait) and still reduce the deficit. To quote one of my favorite crtoon characters: "Boy, I say Boy that there is a real knee-slapper!" ($5 trillionif you can guess who. PBO aint'got nothing on me in spending money neither of us have.)
