While I can appreciate what Morris has to say, I am hesitatnt to accept that PBO is crumbling.
If it were me...or any other THINKING person was faced with the 3 options faced in the piece, the only option would be the 4th. DO NOTHING! Let the people keep their wealth and let the people spend their money and the economy will come back. No more tax increases. No more bailouts...except for the American people. Give some of that wealth back to the ones who created it. No more nationalizing ANYTHING.
His total lack of experience at managing anything other than a household budget is apparent to anyone with a high school education. However, we all know the press is in the bag for this guy and his ilk. So what to do? Simple. Crank up the presses and the television news with all the "feel good" stories about he, Michelle and the two girls. That should tide the folks over through the summer. That gives us (RE: Rahm Emmanuel) time to put together a new message for the fall when people are paying attention again. This man was elected to give us socialism and nationalism policies for decades to come by the smallest denominator of the public. He is not presidential whatsoever and his abilities (positive abilities) are nowhere near that of our past elected leaders.
But he can read a helluva speech.
Goebbels would be so proud.
