Finger-pointing is the name of the game in Washington D.C. It has been for years and its called "politics." The problem here is that he doesn't have a Bush to kick around anymore. How many more times can he go to the well and blame all of this on Bush and Cheney?
For the 40% of the country that are in bed with PBO and will lick his boots wherever and whenever asked, it will always be Bush's (re: Republican) fault. For the 40% of Republicans (Moderates, I might add...conservatives are leaving the party in droves) they will always blame the Democrat.
That leaves the 20% in the middle. As soon as they begin to notice that the "hope" and "change" they voted for was a sham...and make no mistake, it is a complete sham...they will leave in droves as well. Pelosi, Reid et al, smelling blood in the water for their own political lives, will leave PBO flapping in the wind with nowhere to go but out of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue...or out for anothe rspeech where he gives away cars, jobs and health benefits. Manna from heaven from "The messiah."
